About your hosts: Connie & Fred Kuhnle
Although we have traveled the bounds of the world and lived in Dubai for more than a decade whilst raising three children, we are deeply rooted in country-life, which mirrors our own childhood happiness, embedded in the lush sap-green of wide-open pastures and woodland. You can taste that happiness in everything we cook, bake, and create from scratch. It’s a life-style. Popular icons like Jamie Oliver promote that very same awareness, combating the consumer’s fast-food-ready-meal mentality. Today our three children Breezy, Elaine and Elisha are all involved with cooking and baking, as it was our foremost goal as parents, to instill into them that love for self-made, natural food creations, both pleasing to the eye and palate. Recently we have blended our own recipes with some of Jamie’s creations. We share the same passion with him for the light, healthy, and ever so tasty Italian cuisine.
