Guest Lounge
Relax and unwind in the sunroom, while witnessing grand sunset scenarios over the Bay of Fundy. The woodstove radiates a cozy warmth on cold winter eves, while during a spell of hot summer weather you'll enjoy a refreshing breeze from the ocean through each and every window. For those craving a cigarette, there's an exit door to the designated smoker's corner outside. Living @ Home is a non-smoking environment inside throughout.

Port Lorne Road, Gouache.
Most days of the year you can see the shoreline of New Brunswick stretching from St. John all the way to Fundy National Park, as well as glimpses of the easternmost shore of Maine, which equates to more than 75 Kilometers or 40 Nautical Miles of Visibility. Simply spectacular!

Port Lorne Beach.
Port Lorne, home of a small wharf getting busy twice a year during the lobster fishing season in summer and fall, also accommodates a fire hall, only half a mile away from Living @ Home Bed & Breakfast.

Breakfast Room - Detail For the Tea & Coffee Connoisseur:
Your choice of Organically Grown, Fair Trade Tea (Boston Tea Campaign, MA, or Teekampagne, Berlin, Germany) or Organically Grown, Fair Trade Coffee (beans are imported directly by a FOT licensed local roaster in Greenwood, Annapolis Valley): Ambootia Garden Tea Second Flush (Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe, FTGFOP 1) Green Darjeeling; First and Second Flush Darjeeling (FTGFOP 1) For more detailed information about this tea and how it is imported, click on the Boston Tea Campaign Link at the bottom of the page. This site is well worth exploring. Boston Tea Campaign is an offspring of Teekampagne, Germany, once initiated by a group of university students in Berlin, who had researched the Darjeeling World Market. Their findings: the global tea market, dominated by leading brand names, sold 50% more Darjeeling than actually was harvested in India every year... Dominican Republic Medium Roast; Bolivian Dark Roast; Ethiopian and Mexican Medium Roast. Directly imported from Fair Trade participating small farm co-ops by owner-operator "Tony" Jordan, a licensed senior coffee roaster, who expertly roasts the coffee beans with a Turkish roaster of the size of a small locomotive... We highly recommend a visit to his coffee shop at the Greenwood Mall.
